Creativity has been part of me for as long as I can remember, from childhood sketchbooks to studying art through A-levels, and now into my own practice as SebastianDeanArt. For me, art has always been more than a passion; it’s a way of translating thoughts and feelings into something you can see, hold, and live with.
What drives me is the belief that each piece I create is waiting for its person — that one home where it truly belongs. For me, art isn’t just made; it’s shared.
My work is rooted in escapism — paintings and prints that feel like stepping into a small, imagined world of your own. I want each piece to offer a quiet moment of escape in the middle of the day, a doorway to somewhere softer, deeper, or wilder.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature and animals — their textures, rhythms, and untold stories. But at its heart, my art is about bringing ideas into being, giving shape and colour to what once only existed in thought or feeling.
Every canvas, every print, every commission is created with the hope that it becomes more than decoration: that it becomes a companion, a spark, a little piece of wonder in someone’s life, or to you behind the screen.
